Google urges businesses to hold off on using Google+

Google has outlined its commitment to extend the new Google+ social media network for businesses later this year.

In the video blog, Google+ product manager Christan Oestlien asks people to

hold off on using consumer profiles to get a business identity on Google+

This would suggest that consumer profiles cannot be “migrated” to business profiles when they are released.

The business “experience” will include things like rich analytics and linking to other Google services such as AdWords.

Christian also mentions that a small number of businesses will be invited to test the system before the official launch.
