Google Majel to Outperform Apple Siri

Named after Star Trek creator Jean Roddenberry’s wife Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, the legendary voice of the Star Trek “computer” system, it looks like Google’s new voice recognition system “Majel” will be pushed back to Q4 of 2012.


Apple’s Siri has been gaining a lot of respect in the tech world and is fast becoming the decfacto way to communicate with the iPhone.

Android need to act fast if they want to get in at the beginning of this new tech revolution in voice recognition.

It will also be helpful for Apple to have a rival enabling both sides to push the technology to the limits benefiting the consumer in the long-run.
