Most of us would write a short resignation letter when it’s that time but writer Marina Shifrin decided to quit her job in style.
Alone in her office at 4:30am Shifrin breaks out the dance moves to “Gone” by Kanye West while text at the bottom explains her reasons for quitting.
Shifrin is now a former employee of Taiwanese company Next Media Animation that produces news videos.
I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets,” she wrote in the video description. “I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come.
The writer’s epic job resignation video had over 11 million views in its first few days.
In a viral twist, Shifrin’s former employer decided to pucch back with a video of their own receiving over 2 million hits in two days.
