Global Accessibility Awareness Day May 15th 2014

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is on May 15th this year.

Please support awareness in your local communities by attending one of the many public local events or consider attending the Social Media Accessibility Google+ Hangout.

We’ll be attending the Sydney event which is organised through A11y Bytes; get your ticket on Eventbrite.

Join us for an evening of lightning talks is to raise awareness of digital accessibility and people with difference disabilities. We have a great line-up of speakers who will share their passions, thoughts and experiences on inclusion, technology, and life. This isn’t just for web geeks – it’s for anyone who wants to learn what accessibility means in this day and age, and how systems and technology can affect and enhance life.

We look forward to seeing you for an educational, casual, and social evening where we will learn and talk and grow together. Don’t forget to drag along your friends and colleagues as well!
