Ireland cheers Google Street View car

The Queen has gone and Obama didn’t even stay the night so why are Dubliners lining the streets again?

Staff from Google Ireland’s office, along with some bemused passers-by, gathered outside the office to cheer on the Google Street View car as it made a scheduled drive-by.

Of course most of us don’t know the location of the car let a lone the time it may be passing by and for good reason too.

Some countries have not welcomed the Google Street View car taking images along its way, citing invasion of privacy concerns.

In one country, locals even went so far as barricading the car in a side street.

But none of that today as Google staff were all to happy to see their hard work take a cheeky picture of them for a change.  One local even captured the event on video.
